Artist Statement
"This helmet is about LOVE and how much these dogs care and love unconditionally." - Peter Triantos, October 2024
Beginning a new work of art is super exciting for me. Often, I have a preconceived idea of creating something unique and stimulating that will intrigue myself and the viewer. However, the process creates its own flow, and encapsulates, solidifies, and impregnates itself into the medium I am using.
As I transfer energy from my subconscious mind into the physical world, the form and structure manifest themselves through each and every move I make until a balance is reached.
No two people perceive abstract art in the same way; it’s what their intuition projects on it. This is the reason art moves people in such fascinating ways. Whether they are seeing my work for the first time, or whether it’s a piece they have viewed several times, it’s an entirely personal experience! Like love, it can happen at first sight or develop over time.
